George Russell delivers for Mercedes in Sprint Qualifying with "less pressure after engagement"

Russell edged Lando Norris by just 0.041s with a 1:11.567 in Sprint Qualifying, while Charles Leclerc was only 0.055s away in third. It continued Mercedes' strong 2026 form after the break and gave Russell the perfect response following what he called a difficult end to the first half of the season.
